Alana anticipates better than most in the field, and her pace to the ball is eye-catching. Able to take the new ball or come on later in the game, she bowls with great energy and increasing control.
Notably, she has played senior men’s cricket for her club, Bready CC and didn’t look out of place when she played her debut game for Ireland against South Africa in 2022 in Dublin.
The all-rounder is fully immersed in cricket with her day job also in the game as a Cricket Connects Officer in the NWCU.
