Tyrone is a stalwart of the Inter-provincial system - having enjoyed considerable success with Leinster Lightning, he moved to Munster Reds in 2021 where he was rewarded with the captaincy for his first season 'in red'.
His performances at the domestic level have ensured he is on the selectors radar.
Prior to his involvement at senior levels, Tyrone was Ireland's leading run scorer at the 2012 U-19 World Cup in Australia and, after his exploits in the tournament, he was named captain of Ireland's U-19 side in 2013.
