Cricket for kids

We hope to help guide you through a range of programmes and other opportunities that aim to provide your child with fun and engaging experiences.

First step is typically to find a club near you.

At many clubs around Ireland there are kids programmes, cricket blitzes or other opportunities to give cricket a go - girls and boys alike.

Two programmes that are run in a range of clubs is Smash It and It's Wicket!

There are over 120 cricket clubs around Ireland. Find your nearest.

Smash It is an inclusive programme of cricket-based skills and fun for kids aged 5-9 years.

It’s Wicket! is a targeted Girls-Only Cricket Programme for Girls aged 9 – 13 years.
