DUBLIN – Irish international Curtis Campher has been called up to the Ireland Wolves tour to Namibia after three players test positive for COVID-19 on the eve of the squad’s departure.
The squad departed this morning after several last-minute decisions had to be made about the squad composition in the light of three players testing positive during their last round of pre-departure tests
The key decisions made were:
• Ross Adair has had to withdraw from the tour, with Curtis Campher called up to join the squad;
• William McClintock has also had to withdraw from the tour;
• Ruhan Pretorius was called up as cover as well, but after testing positive he will have a delayed departure date and join the squad prior to the 50-over matches; and
• Fionn Hand will also have a delayed departure date and join the squad prior to the 50-over matches.
